We love the fact that Auckland is so accessible, it is big enough to make it feel like a big city and small enough that you don’t feel overwhelmed, it is also the fastest growing city in New Zealand. It’s called the City of Sails because of the numerous yacht marinas and sailboats along its shores and multiple bays. It has more yachts per capita than any city in the world. It is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and the Tasman Sea.We love the Mission Bay seaside promenade, Auckland Domain, Cornwall Park, Viaduct Harbour, the West and East beaches, the multi-cultural city vibes and cafe society. The national reserves are amazing and the coffee is really really good!
